She had siblings Charles Bischard, Harry Bischard, and Norman Bischard. She married William Henry Wilson, and had children Albert Charles Wilson, Ronald Arthur Wilson, Jean Isobelle (Wilson) Thornton, Linda Margaret (Wilson) Hunt, Rita Lillian (Wilson) Burgess, Leslie Wilson, and Reginald Wilson. Lily Wilson died at age 59 years old on January 31, 1950 in Essendon, Moonee Valley City County, Victoria, and was buried at Springvale Botanical Cemetery 600 Princes Hwy, in Springvale, Greater Dandenong City County, VIC.

In 1904, at the age of merely 14 years old, Lily was alive when the "Teddy's Bear" was first produced. After seeing a political cartoon of President Teddy Roosevelt refusing to kill a clubbed and tied up bear, Jewish Russian immigrant Morris Michtom - who owned a candy shop and sold stuffed animals that he and his wife made at night at the store - made a "Teddy's Bear" and put it in his shop's window. The stuffed bears were an immediate success and Michtom and his wife went on to found the Ideal Novelty and Toy Co.
