    Lionel Krisel was born to Alexander Krisel (1890-1983) and Cecelia Young (1891-1976) in New York and had two siblings including Henry Charles Krisel who was born in 1923 and passed away in 1996. Lionel was married twice, first to Virginia Anna Adelaide Weidler (1927-1968), an actress, on March 27th 1947 in Las Vegas Nevada and they had two sons, Ronnie and Gary Krisel. See their marriage announcement Former Child Actress Wed. They were married for 21 years, until Virginia died from an ongoing heart ailment at the age of 41. Former Child Actress Wed
Virginia Weidler, child actress in many pictures, now has a grown-up role. Miss Weidler, 20, became the bride of Lionel Krisel, 25, once termed the Navy's "youngest lieutenant commander," in a Las Vegas ceremony late Thursday.. Miss Weidler has been active in radio after "outgrowing" her film roles. Krisel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Krisel, enlisted in the Navy at 19 as an apprentice seaman and rose to be a lieutenant commander at 23. He was graduated from the Los Angeles campus of the University of California last year.
