She had siblings Frances Valenti Kahle, Kathryn Valenti Porter, and Corrine Valenti Moxham. Lorraine Zinnanti married John Zinnanti, and died at age 76 years old on August 13, 1995.

Educator. Lorraine V. Zinnanti taught both 1st and 3rd grades for the Patchogue- Medford School District 1948 - 1979. She was a Lady of grace and wisdom who dedicated her life educating children and preparing them for their future role in life. She knew how to discipline stubborn Donkeys. LONG ISLAND ADVANCE April 15, 1995 Lorraine V. Zinnanti, 77, of East Patchogue, died on August 13. Born in Brooklyn, Mrs. Zinnanti had retired from the Patchogue-Medford Schools in 1979. She is survived by her husband of 51 years John, three sisters, Frances Kahle, of Moriches, Kathryn Porter, of Sayville and Corrine Moxham, of Great River. Wake prayers were offered at the Ruland Funeral Home in Patchogue. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Saint Joseph the Worker R.C. Church, with the Reverend Thomas March officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, East Morches. -Long Island Advance-
