He married Agnes Beatrice (Tidwell) Ladner in May 1930, and they were married until Oneida's death in May 1976. He had children Oneida Gayle (Ladner) Ferguson, Norma Gwendolyn (Ladner) Roberts, and Grady Ray Ladner. Oneida Ferguson was buried on May 10, 1976 at Oakley.

    I was the youngest of three children born to Lucius and Agnes Ladner. I was used to moving around many times because dad was an evangelist. So meeting new people was not a rarity for me. I love my family and the Lord. My desire is to be an effective witness for Jesus and be an example to our children, grands, and great grands!
