She was in a relationship with Francisco Quinata Sanchez, and had children Emily Van Meter (Sanchez) Quinata, Francisco Van Meter Sanchez, Sharon Van Meter (Sanchez) Usita, Lonnie Van Meter Sanchez, Eileen Van Meter (Sanchez) Quintanilla, Jeanette Van Meter (Sanchez) Porell, and Noah Dean Sanchez.     Magdalena Salas Van Meter Sanchez was born in Sumay, Guam πŸ‡¬πŸ‡Ί, USA πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on 19 April 1935 to Maria Guadalupe Babauta Salas and John Cruz Van Meter. She was the eldest of five brothers and two sisters. In 1956, Magdalena married Francisco Quinata Sanchez, a U.S. Airman, from the village of Umatac. They were married at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Agat. They had seven lovely children. The Sanchez family served the Government of Guam, the US Armed Forces as military members, Department of Defense (DOD) civil servant and as a military/DOD spouse. Frank, Maggie, and their children, are devoted Catholics. Maggie was devoted Air Force wife and mother, grandmother, and loved all her God-children, nieces and nephews.
