I didn't know Marcus until the last four or five years before he died. I remember meeting him at Greenhaven Golf Course during a game of Texas Hold'em that he was running. Little did I know then what great friends we would turn out to be. From whatever relationship issues I was having at the time to deep philosophical discussions about God, I could talk to Marcus about anything. He always had great advice and was willing to share books or CDs from one of his favorite preachers TD Jakes. For a while there we hung out almost nearly every day to the point where people started asking if we were in a relationship together. It was never like that Marcus he was a true best friend and even as it's been 10 years I still miss him so. You are but not forgotten Marcus, and you are very missed and loved
