She married George James Playle, and had children John James Lionel Playle and Margaret Euphemia Playle. Margaret Playle died at age 64 years old on October 26, 1932 at Essendon VIC, Australia in Essendon, Moonee Valley City County, VIC.

The Age, Melbourne. 12th August 1893. PLAYLE - McSWEENEY. On the 19th July, at St. Francis's Church, by the Rev. J. J. Malone, George James, youngest son of Mr. John Playle, "Warrowie," Irrewarra, to Margaret J. V. McSweeney, second eldest daughter of the late Constable McSweeney, North Melbourne.
