Margaret S (Martin) Lawalt of Berwick, Columbia County, PA was born on August 28, 1915 to Susan (Smith) Martin. She had siblings Dawnie Martin, Queenie Martin, Ottie Martin, and Kelly Martin. She married Robert R Lawalt, and they were married until Robert's death on April 23, 1996. She had children Yvonne Helena (Ney) Schrader, Yvette Alena Ney, Jenifer Lee Rundle, Nicole Marie (Rundle) Bankes, Thomas Frederick Rundle, Shirley Ann (Lawalt) Ney, and Helen Yvonne Lawalt. Margaret Lawalt died at age 89 years old on September 1, 2004.

She was my favorite person in the whole world. I loved the stories of her youth growing up in the south and running away with the Barnum and Bailey circus which is how she ended up in Pennsylvania.
