Gramma Marge was my Grampa Langwell's second wife. She worked in a diner where Grampa and liked to eat. They had known each other for years. She had lost her first husband, Paul, and he had divorced his first wife, my Granny Darlene. The acquaintance blossomed into friendship and later, into marriage. Gramma Marge was a good gramma. She was soft spoken and gentle. We did not maintain contact after Grampa died and I regret that. She is still living in Brookfield and is quite elderly. Grampa has been dead 34 years this year! Gramma never had any children, but a niece and, I believe, a nephew; I hope they have been taking care of her.
