Mariah Jane (Curvin) Newman 1851 - 1927

Mariah Jane (Curvin) Newman was born on April 1, 1851 in Baltimore, Northumberland County, ON Canada. Mariah's partner was Almond D Savage circa 1877 and they later separated circa 1878. They had a child David Asa Riley. She also married Thomas Andrew Goheen in 1879, and they were married until Thomas' death on March 13, 1907 in Gladwin County, Michigan United States. They had children Israel J. Goheen, Thomas Goheen, and Eber Andrew Goheen. She and Richard Clayton Newman married on October 29, 1909 in Gladwin, Gladwin County, Michigan United States, and they were married until Richard's death on June 15, 1919 in Gladwin United States. Mariah Newman died at age 76 years old on August 6, 1927 at Home of her son Eber Goheen in Sherman Township, Gladwin County, and was buried on August 7, 1927 at Butman Township Cemetery Cemetery Rd, in Gladwin.
