Grace M Seymour (Brown / Macholl) was born in upstate New York to Earl and Grace Seymour. She was their only child though there were many cousins and relatives nearby. She was very intelligent and graduated her high school class as valedictorian. Oddly enough, both her first husband (Richard A Brown) and her second husband (James A Macholl) were part of that same class.

Marian was of English, Irish, German lineage. There is a possibility that her father, Earl, was also part Native American Indian. She was born in Manlius or Marcellus, NY and travelled overseas extensively with her 1st husband when he was in the military.

Graduated high school and Syracuse University. She was a teacher of EMR students for many, many years before Alzheimer's robbed her of her mind.

Raised in a Christian family, became Catholic upon her marriage to James Macholl.

School teacher for many, many years. Mostly in Manassas, VA at Stonewall Jackson High School when she was still Grace M. Brown. Worked for Catholic Charities when she married and moved to NY with James Macholl.

She was a wonderful mother who loved her 4 children with all her heart. She did the best she could in the times she lived.
