    Born to Armando Alcalde (1894 - 1975) and Amelia Castellano (1898 - 1993), Mario's date of birth is listed in some records as September 13 1926 and in other government records as September 6 1926. He had siblings Armando de Jesus Alcalde, 1920 - 2005, Elaine Alcalde born 1929, and Hector. In the 1940 census, Mario was age 14, and the family stated that everyone except Hector (who was born in NY) was born in Key West Florida. Father Armando was seeking working, as well as son Armando de Jesus. Mario, Elaine, and Hector were in school. They were living in New York. On his World War 2 draft card, Oct 3, 1944, Mario stated that he was 18, born in Key West FL, was registering in NY, NY (Havana Cuba is crossed out), that he was unemployed, 6 feet and 3/4 inches and weighed 165 pounds, had a light complexion, brown eyes, and brown hair. His next of kin was his father. Mario, an actor and writer, has an IMDb biography that states: "Mario Alcalde was born on September 6, 1926 in Key West, Florida, USA as Mario Acalde. He was an actor and writer, known for The Fugitive (1963), Goodyear Playhouse (1951) and Studio One in Hollywood (1948). He died on April 22, 1971 in Los Angeles, California, USA." According to his Los Angeles Times obituary on April 24, 1971, Mario was survived by his wife, Nancy Alcalde, and sons Richard, Christopher and Mark.
