Mary (Bowman) Duncan was born on June 30, 1866 in Milan, Dutchess County, New York USA to Jane (Milroy) Bowman and John S. Bowman, and had siblings Elma (Bowman) Simmons, Otis M. Bowman, and Louisa Bowman. She married Isaac Duncan, and they were married until Isaac's death in 1925. Mary Duncan died at age 80 years old on March 11, 1947 in Pine Plains, and was buried at Nine Partners Cemetery in Millbrook.
