    OBITUARY. MRS. MARY MOORE. One of pioneer settlers of the irrigation area, Mrs. Mary Moore passed away in the Leeton District Hospital on September 19 last, after a long illness over two years, aged 78 years. She was pre-deceased by her husband 26 years ago, and survived by seven daughters — Mrs. L. Drew (Leeton), Mrs. J. O. Doyle (Yenda), Mrs. Flanagan (Emu Plains), Sister Lawrence (Presentation Convent, Berrigan), Mrs. Arbery (Leeton), Mrs. McLaren (Cootamundra), Sister Ruth Moore (Leeton District Hospital), Also 32 grand-children and three great grand children. The late Mrs. Moore was born at Bringabert Station, Victoria, and came to Leeton with her husband and six of their children in 1913. They took up a farm at Stony Point. Her funeral moved from St. Joseph's Church on Thursday afternoon for the Roman Catholic section of the Leeton cemetery the Rev. Dean Lacey conducting the obsequies. The pall bearers were Messrs J. Brady (an old friend). O. Doyle and Arbery (sons-in-law) and George Doyle (grandson). Among the chief mourners were six daughters and four grandsons.
