    Mary Nell Euper was born to Frank Rudolph Euper (1872 - 1963) and Jessie Lawson Barr (1888 - 1971) on September 21st, 1923 in Arkansas and she had five siblings: Mildred (1912 - 1992); Lenora E (1914 - 2009); Dorothy Pauline (1917 - 2007); Jessie (1919 - 2000); and Frank (1921 - 1988). Mary served on a numerous boards such as Fort Smith Chorale, the Clayton House; and the Fort Smith Historical Society.     Miss Mary Nell Euper of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Miss Euper was 86 years, 7 months, and 28 days old. She was the daughter of the late Frank Rudolph and Jesse (Barr) Euper. Miss Euper was a graduate of Fort Smith Junior College (now known as UAFS); and Valparaiso University. She was a life-long member of the 1st Lutheran Church in Fort Smith, Arkansas. For many years, she served as the Historian of the church, as well as an officer of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. Miss Euper served on a numerous boards such as: Fort Smith Chorale, the Clayton House; and the Fort Smith Historical Society. She was an employee for many years at the Ophthalmology Clinic (now Eye Group), where she was a Business Manager. She retired from this business. Miss Euper is survived by her nephews: David Dick of Lucas, Texas, Donald Struebing Jr, of Springdale, Arkansas; her nieces: Carol Goodson or Harrison, Arkansas, Kathryn Blaylock, of Clayton, North Carolina, and Janelle Schaefer, of Bartlett, Tennessee; her dear cousins: Dr. Marilyn Barr and Larry Barr, of Fort Smith, Arkansas; other relatives; and many, many dear friends. Funeral service was held on Saturday, May 22, 2010, at the 1st Lutheran Church. Her cremains were laid to rest at the Oak Cemetery. - Edwards Funeral Obituary (Fort Smith, Arkansas) May 20, 2010
