Loving and loved widow of the late Geoffrey James O'Brien of Campbell Town, loved mother of Pip Buchanan, Helen, James and Dan O'Brien, and mother-in-law of Alex, Sue and Patrice, adored grandmother of Richard and Tash, Kathie, Emma, Jonny, Millie, Ashley and Gina.

College football was more popular than pro football and rising player salaries were bankrupting league owners. In response, owners created the NFL, using the pro baseball association as a model.
