Mary T. Costello Lavery
I have an old studio photograph of Mary T. COSTELLO which was taken at the Merrell Studio in Geneseo, NY. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's or 1890's with Mary likely in her 20's at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Mary and her family:
Mary T. COSTELLO was b. 15 Apr 1866 in Geneseo, NY to parents John C. COSTELLO (1828-1891) and Julia DELAHUNTY (1830-1904). Mary was one of 13 children born to this couple including Martin Lavern; Charles Timothy; Denis; Mary; James; Julia; John J.; William; Bridget Agnes; Mary T.; Michael; Michael E. or J.; and Thomas Edward COSTELLO, all born between 1854 and 1871.
Mary married Edward G. LAVERY (1865-1940) in 1893, and they had 7 children, including, John; Edward; Catherine; Kathern; Martha; Mary Ann; and Edward Costello LAVERY, all born between 1895 and 1905. Mary died 22 Sept 1948 in Geneseo, NY and is buried in the Saint Agnes Cemetery in Menands, NY.
