Mathias Schlimgen 1827 - 1915

Mathias Schlimgen was born on November 30, 1827 in Bergheim, NRW Germany to Johann Schlimgen and Christina (Schuetz ) Schlimgen, and had siblings Engelbert Schlimgen, Gertaud Schlimgen, Sybilla Schlimgen, Elisabeth Schlimgen, and Peter Schlimgen. They married Katharine Elizabeth (Schell) Schlimgen on July 10, 1853, and they were married until Katharine's death on March 12, 1903. They had children Johann Schlimgen, Anna Sibilla Schlimgen, Lawrence Schlimgen, Katharina Schlimgen, Mathias John Schlimgen, Charles T Schlimgen, Katherine Elizabeth (Schlimgen) Fergen, Josephine E Schlimgen, Lawrence J Schlimgen, Josephine A Schlimgen, Frank Schlimgen, Wilhelmina (Schlimgen ) Engels, Augusta Schlimgen, and Roman Schlimgen. Mathias Schlimgen died at age 87 years old on February 24, 1915 in Parkston, South Dakota United States.
