Matilda Ann (Beard) Goddard of Malvern, City of Stonnington County, VIC Australia was born in 1877 in Port Fairy, Moyne Shire County to William George Beard and Sarah Ann Jane Firman Beard. She had siblings Mary Jane (Beard) Fordham, Alice Elizabeth Beard, Alfred James Beard, Sarah Amelia Beard, Walter Albert Beard, Robert Edward Beard, William George Beard, Joshua James Beard, and Abraham Stephen Beard. She married Phillip Goddard, and had children Phillip Charles Goddard and Kathleen Mary Goddard. Matilda Goddard died at age 42 years old on May 31, 1920 in Malvern, City of Stonnington County.
