    Search "Matilda Thornhill" on the Trove website (National Library of Australia) for obituary. Email from Beechworth Cemetary - dated 1 Oct 2016 Good morning Ineke, Thank you for the enquiry. The cemetery records show the burial of William THORNHILL on 23/4/1896. His age is given as 68 years and his last address is shown as "Three Mile". His grave location is Church of England Area, Section B, Grave 57. This is a single, unmarked grave. The records show the burial of Matilda THORNHILL on 31/7/1911. Her age is given as 77 years and her last address is shown as "Baarmutha". Her grave location is Church of England Area, Section F, Grave 8. She is buried with several others of the JENSEN family with whom it appears she was related. The records show one other with the family name THORNHILL- Minerva. Her age is given as 22 months. She was buried on 16/5/1874 in the Independent Area but the grave location was not recorded. I trust this has been of some help.
