Mavis Gwendoline (Allamby) Cook of Northcote, Vic Australia was born in 1920 in Northcote to James Allamby and Jane (Moss) Allamby. She had siblings Doris Martha (Allamby) D'Elton, Gladys Eva Allamby, Elsie Florence (Allamby) Woolfe, James Allamby, Elva May (Allamby) Grace, Hazel Daphne (Allamby) Price, William James Allamby, and Irene Rose (Allamby) Tait. She married William George Harry Cook, and they were married until death separated them. Mavis Cook died at age 57 years old in 1977 in Preston, and was buried on July 5, 1977 at Fawkner Memorial Park and Crematorium Sydney Rd, in Fawkner.
