May Kezia HOTCHKIN
I've recovered an old photograph of May Kezia HOTCHKIN which was taken on 20 May 1897 on her first birthday. The photograph was taken at the Will Hart's Studio in Watertown, NY. On the back of the photograph someone has attached the "child born 20 May 1896 horoscope" as well. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding May and her family:
May or Mary Kezia HOTCHKIN was b. 20 May 1896 in Watertown, NY to parents Herbert Bacon HOTCHKIN (1853-1907) and Mary Cornelia BEROW (1867-1921) who were married 25 Feb 1892 in Watertown, NY. She had one sibling, a brother Paul Lincoln HOTCHKIN (1892-1963). May married Edgar Elmer VANCE (1897-1971) on 8 Jul 1926 in Watertown, NY and they had a son, Paul Hotchkin VANCE (1930-2001). May died 11 Sept 1985 in Euclid, OH and is buried in the Acacia Masonic Memorial Park Cemetery in Mayfield Heights, OH.
I am hoping to locate someone from May’s family so that this precious old photograph can be returned to the care of her family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me.
