    Melvin "Mel" Williams was born on September 15, 1937 alongside his twin brother Marvin. He passed away, last of six sons, surrounded by loving family and friends on December 11, 2022. Mel loved watching the 49ers, playing golf and especially enjoyed the Friday night group at Buttercup. Mel first married Naomi Ruth Blodgett and they had two children together, Rusty and Donna. She was killed in a car accident in 1960. Later in life Mel found love in Ann Bergum Williams. For 33 years they embarked on an eventful journey, uniting Mel's children; Donna Grinis, Rusty Williams, and Ann's children; Sean Smith, Aaron Smith, forming a unique family. He was loved by all especially his grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel on September 29, 2023 at 12PM.
