She married Matthew Benjamin Zimmerman circa 1981 in Doylestown, Bucks County, PA, and they were married until Michelle's death on May 15, 2012 in Doylestown. She had children Katelyn Elizabeth Zimmerman and Sean Michael Zimmerman. Michelle Zimmerman was buried on May 18, 2012 at Beulah Cemetery 238 Almshouse Rd, in New Britain.
