Always Check
I had the pleasure (although sometimes I didn't think he thought it was a pleasure) to have Mr. Hershberger as a teacher several times in many grades. There are people who can change your life just while being who they are.
One subject he taught was Math. He used to say "always check subtraction." To this very day I find myself "checking my subtraction."
He was a kind and effective teacher.
Many times he would give me some help in my studies and he was patient with me and always helped to point me in the right direction.
I was very sad to hear of his death and I know he's in Heaven.
God bless you, Mr. Hershberger.
