This is her husband, Dr. Samuel Abrahamsen.
He was my high school Norwegian teacher. I told him that he was wasting his brilliance and wit on stupid high school girls.
(It wasn't wasted on me!) I said he should be teaching history instead at Brooklyn College, N.Y.U. and Columbia. 30 years later, he told his wife that I had changed his life.

Samuel Abrahamsen was Judy's father who is buried beside her. He used her photo for his dedication to her in his book, Norway's Response to the Holocaust.
