She had siblings Jessie Carol Matthews, John Roy Matthews, Alice Amelia (Matthews) Sawyer, Robert Morrell Matthews, and Louisa Nix. She married Robert Willi Embleton, and had a child James Robert Embleton. Minnie Embleton died at age 88 years old in 1977 in Traralgon.
