Mutelle Annie Geary of Stawell Australia was born in 1906 in Stawell, VIC to Euphemia Augusta (Meadows) Geary. They had siblings Florence May Geary, Victor James Geary, George Edward Geary, Hubert John Geary, and Dora May Geary. Mutelle Geary died at age 65 years old on April 4, 1972 in Hurstville, NSW, and was buried in April 1972 at Woronora General Cemetery & Crematorium Linden St, in Sutherland.

Introduction

Mutelle grew up in Callawada, Victoria near Stawell. Her father died in January 1908. Her mother remarried Paul Whitfield in 1911. Mutelle relocated to Sydney in the early 1920s and in 1925 married John Harold White. They were subsequently divorced in 1945/46. She remarried in 1947 Julian Roy Casas. Her only child from her first marriage was a son Geoffrey Harold White (born in 1927). Mutelle ran a shop in Hurstville for many years with the sale/hire of fancy dress costumes.
