Printed on the back: Myron May 28, 1927 - edit: I believe this is Myron Twedt and this wedding was probably in Iowa. This is a found image and one found with this identified someone named Myron in Salem, Oregon but as I kept going through the images I found a Myron Twedt (who looks a lot like this person) and he's listed in Iowa. Current theory is that someone from the Twedt family moved from Iowa to Oregon and Myron was visiting.
ANOTHER EDIT: Either Myron Twedt was married more than once, someone wrote the wrong date, or this is not Myron Twedt. I say this because Myron Twedt's headstone says he and Alice were married 12/18/1943.
Just as I was starting to think I had it figured out!

An 'orphan' photo trying to find its way back to family. Nothing is known about this wedding photo except printed on the back: Myron May 28th 1927. Potentially taken in Salem Oregon. How would you go about identifying the people in this photo?

Most abandoned pictures are 'out there' because no one wanted them and they were sold at estate sales or to antique stores. I have a closet full that are going to meet the same fate, unfortunately. If you can find a list of weddings that took place in Salem on that date (newspaper archives or public records) you might have a chance of identifying the people.
