She married Ralph Joseph Wagner in . They had children Raymond Junior Wagner, Leonard James Wagner, Ralph Joseph Wagner, and Geneva Tammy Sue Wagner. She married Clarence Earl Shaffer, and they had children Clara Louise Shaffer, Clarence Junior Shaffer, Beverly A Shaffer, Michael Shaffer, and David Allen Shaffer. Myrtle Funk died at age 91 years old on November 9, 2020 in Rowlesburg.
