Nathan James Pollard Bayko's History: 1979 - 2005

Uncover new discoveries and connections today by sharing about people & moments from yesterday.
  • Introduction

Nathan James Pollard Bayko was born to Lori Bayko (1962 - 1998). Lori was born in Massachusetts. On February 17, 2005, there was a car accident involving Nathan Bayko, who was 25 years old at the time. He was allegedly driving a promotional van owned by his employer, Merrimack Valley Distribution, while under the influence of alcohol. The van collided with a Buick sedan driven by Wayne Underhill, an 80-year-old minister, with his 79-year-old wife, Marilyn, also in the car. Both Wayne and Marilyn suffered serious and permanent injuries as a result of the crash. The accident occurred because Nathan was driving in the wrong direction on Route 114 in Peabody, Massachusetts, and crashed head-on into the couple's car. Following the incident, the elderly couple filed a lawsuit against Nathan's employer. Nathan faced multiple charges, including drunk driving, causing serious bodily injury, reckless driving, failure to stay within marked lanes, and assault and battery on an ambulance worker. He was released on bail, but tragically, on the morning of March 21, he was found dead in his Amesbury home, having apparently taken his own life.
