He had siblings John Ferguson, Anne Ferguson, Neil Ferguson, George Ferguson, Alexander Ferguson, Murdoch Roderick Ferguson, Donald Ferguson, Kenneth Mckenzie Ferguson, George Blackmoor Ferguson, and Edward James Ferguson. He married Louisa Cook (Mctavish) Ferguson in 1905, and had children Jean Maud Ferguson, John Donald Ferguson, Edith Evelyn Ferguson, Mary Reid Ferguson, and Elizabeth Annie Ferguson. Neil Ferguson died at age 45 years old on October 13, 1922 in Horsham, Horsham Rural City County.
