Helen Jenette (Sweeney) Dudley of Houston, Harris County, TX was born on August 9, 1925 to Michael Sweeney and Nell (Guyer) Sweeney. She had siblings Baby Boy Sweeny, Mary Francis (Sweeney) Glass, Margaret (Sweeney) Corbett, Cecelia Sweeney, Michael J Sweeney, Theresa (Sweeney) Conway, Katherine Sweeney, and Ida Delamater Sweeney. Helen was baptized in 1925 in Houston. She married Bill Dudley in Houston, Harris County and they later divorced. She had children Lucinda Dodson (Dudley) McLaren, Bayard Turner Gross Dudley, William Gross Dudley Jr, Robert Douglas Dudley, and Katherine Elizabeth (Dudley) Shelton. Helen Dudley died at age 77 years old on September 20, 2002 in Houston, Harris County, and was buried in 2004 at She donated her body to medical science.
