Nels Benjamin Hogenson 1878 - 1965

Nels Benjamin Hogenson was born on December 15, 1878 in Ephraim, Door County, Wisconsin United States to Lena Gesine (Rejnertsdatter) Hogenson and Fordel Hogenson, and had siblings Herman David Hoganson, Rheinhart Martin Hoganson, Fredide Leonore Hogenson, Samuel Matthew Hogenson, Elise Marie Hogenson, and Lene G. Hogenson. He married Edith Cordelia Goodlett on December 30, 1903 in Door County, and they were married until Edith's death on May 11, 1956. He had children Helen Gertrude (Hogenson) Best, Norris Bertram Hogenson, Bernice Lillian (Hogenson) Stevens, Elizabeth Hogenson, Clifford D Hogenson Md, and Edward Benjamin Hogenson. Nels Hogenson died at age 86 years old on June 18, 1965 in Walla Walla, Walla Walla County, WA, and was buried on June 23, 1965 at Fort Howard Cemetery 1350 N Military Ave, in Green Bay, Brown County, WI.

His mother died when Nels was 8 years old, shortly after giving birth to the youngest daughter, and Fordel married Harriet Thonette Tonneson (1862-1927, also of Vest-Agder, Norway) the following year.
