    N.D. ORNELLAS, 36, ACTOR, DIED in NEW YORK Norman D. Ornellas, 36, a St. Louis High School graduate who went on to a career as a professional actor, died Saturday in New York. Mr. Ornellas was born in Hawaii. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, he began a career that included study at the Actors Studio, roles from Chekhov to modern musicals, and parts in three Off-Broadway productions. He acted with Honolulu's Magic Ring Theatre, St. Michael's Playhouse in Vermont, the Great Lakes Shakespeare Festival in Ohio, and the Gene Frankel Repertory in New York where had lived the past 12 years. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at St. Augustine's Church followed by burial in Hawaiian Memorial Park. Friends may call after 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at Williams Mortuary. A prayer service will begin at 12:15 p.m. at the mortuary. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Ornellas; two sisters, Yvonne Ornellas and Mrs. Kallmyer (Annette L.) Engagement of Meg Nerad, Norman Ornellas Solemnized
A small reception at the home of her parents followed the Saturday engagement ceremony of Miss Margaret (Meg) Nerad and Norman Ofnellas. The engement was solemnized in a ceremony in St. Thomas Aquinas church by Rt. Rev. Msgr. McEachin.

Med is th daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Carl O. Nerad of 343 Charles St., East Lansing, and the prospective bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Manuel L. Ornellas of Honolulu, Hawaii. The bride-to-be, who is now studying drama at the Bergoff School of Drama in New York city, is a graduate of St. Mary's of Notre, Dame, Indiana. The bridegroom-elect will be graduated from Notre Dame in June and on June 10, 1961, the couple will repeat their vows at Notre Dame University.
