He was in a relationship with Lois Catherine Perdue Deshazo, and had children Ernest Aaron Deshazo, John Franklin Deshazo, Millard Deshazo, Vivian Maria Deshazo, Cecil Donald Deshazo, Burel Deshazo, Delbert Claude Deshazo, Howard Clinton Deshazo, Woodrow Forest Deshazo, and Pauline Wanda Deshazo. Parmer Deshazo died at age 78 years old on November 7, 1956 at Short Mountain in Le Flore County, Oklahoma United States.

Parmer was also seen on census records as Palmer Neal. Family says he was nick named "PD" after he was orphaned about 1890-92. His only known wife was Lois Catherine Perdue. They had 11 children, the first, Ernest Aaron, died at only 3 years old.
