Paul Dupont Jr's father was Paul Dupont Senior and his mother was Edith P. Phillips. When Paul Junior was age 11, he was living in Warren, Michigan with his parents and siblings Kay Donna and Patricia A. Dupont. Dad was working in an auto plant as a "jig and fixature". Paul married Rosemary Pardo on April 16, 1991, in Detroit, Michigan. Paul had two sons, Don and Gary Paul Dupont, two daughters, Cathy Lynn and Reba Lee Dupont, and two step-sons, Anthony J. The following obituary was published in Houghton Lake Resorter (Mich.) on Friday March 14 2003: DUPONT Paul DuPont, 64, Houghton Lake, died March 13, 2003, at West Branch Regional Medical Center. A service will be held Friday, March 21, at 1 p.m. at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta. Christler Funeral Home-Houghton Lake Chapel provided arrangements. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice. Mr. DuPont was born in Detroit Jan. 8, 1939, to Paul Sr. and Edith (Phillips) DuPont. He had moved to Houghton Lake from Detroit in 1999. He and Rosemary Pardo were married April 16, 1991, in Detroit and he worked as a plumber in the Detroit area. Mr. DuPont had served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Surviving Mr. DuPont are his wife, Rosemary DuPont of Houghton Lake; two sons, Don and wife Rose DuPont of Traverse City and Gary Paul DuPont of Mt. Clemens; two daughters, Cathy Lynn and husband John Walsh of Clinton Township and Reba Lee and husband Adam Bosek of Bloomfield; two step-sons, Anthony J. Stackpoole of Sault Ste. Marie and Kenneth and wife Terri Stackpoole of Pinconning; two sisters, KayDonna Brown of Warren and Patricia Skirke of Utica; and 17 grandchildren.
