Paul Leonard Newman 1925 - 2008

Paul Leonard Newman was born on January 26, 1925 in Shaker Heights, Cuyahoga County, Ohio United States to Arthur Sigmund Newman and Theresa (Fetsko) Newman, and had a brother Arthur Sigmund Newman. He married Jacqueline Anne Newman on December 27, 1949 in Cleveland, Cuyohoga County and they later divorced on January 28, 1958 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California. They had children Scott Alan Newman, Stephanie Michelle Newman, and Susan Kendall Newman. He married Joanne Gignilliant Trimmier Woodward on January 29, 1958 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, and they were married until Paul's death on September 26, 2008 in Westport, Fairfield County, Connecticut. They had children Elinor Teresa Irving, Melissa Stewart Elkind, and Claire Olivia Soderlund.
