  • Introduction

    Paul's mother, Kathleen "Kay" Maria Wagstaff (1922-2000) married Paul's father, Frank Stubenrauch, on August 16, 1952. They had Paul and 5 other children, all daughters: Mary, Delores, Elizabeth, Therese and Anne Stubenrauch. Paul married Lynn, who survived him. He was also survived by his parents and five sisters. Only 34 when he died, Paul was a writer/producer. He was one of the writers for 'Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman", and the last episode he wrote for Dr. Qinnn was titled: 'Woman of the Year." That episode was dedicated to him. He also wrote for "King's Ransom" (1993), "The Associate" in 1991, and 6 episodes of "Superboy" from 1990 - 1991. Paul had also written for and produced movies such as: 'The Mystery files of Shelby Woo' and 'The Night Brings Charlie' and the bonus feature for "The Night Brings Charlie".     The Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles CA Feb 14, 1996: Stubenrauch, Paul Matthew, 34, resident of Orlando Florida; died February 6, 1996. He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn; beloved parents, Frank and Kay: much loved sisters, Mary, Dolores, Elizabeth, Therese and Ann; nieces Megan Taja, Maya, and Elisabeth and nephews, Matthew and Andrew. Paul was a man of great faith and for several years was a Brother of the Capuchin Franciscan Order. Of later years he was a script writer, most recently for "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman." Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10am, Saturday, February 17 at St. Kilian Church in Mission Viejo.
