He had siblings including Jesse James (1926-2007), Daniel Theadore (1929-1987), Mary Katherine Perry Hayes (1932-2009), Samuel Edward (1934-2007), John Victor (1936-2019), Martha Retha (1938-1999), Esther (1939-2010), and Rebecca I Perry (1943-2012). He worked for an automobile manufacturing plant in his early years and then became a barber (along with several of his brothers) and owned and operated the 7 Perry Brothers Barber Shop in the San Fernando Valley area in Southern California from the early 60’s until retiring in the 90’s. Paul was a veteran of the US Army.

In the loving memory of our beloved, we sadly regret to announce the passing of Paul Thomas Perry on June 17th, 2015, at Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills, CA . He was born on September 17, 1930, in Columbus, Ohio and is the son of the late Rev Jesse Perry and Doris Perry. He worked for an automobile manufacturing plant in his early years. He became a barber (along with several of his brothers) and owned and operated the 7 Perry Brothers Barber Shop in the San Fernando Valley area in Southern California from the early 60’s until retiring in the 90’s. He was a proud veteran serving in the Army.
He was kind to all, and a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great, great grandfather, and brother. He extensively researched family ancestry and loved to share his vast knowledge of family genealogy, and those families now and in the future can enjoy learning and trace our family history on Ancestry.com.
He is survived by his dearly beloved wife Lois Perry; his children: Pam ( Lin ) Stevenson, Lois ( Ken) Beals, Jim ( Terry ) Perry, eight grandchildren: Jeremy Anderson. Adam ( Kathy) Perry, Chris (Barbara) Perry, Evelyn ( Nick) Downey, Nicole Perry, Jessica Stevenson, Philip Stevenson and Jason Stevenson, 15 great grandchildren: Courtney Rushing, Brianna Anderson, Zackery Anderson, Michael James Perry, Genesis Perry, Logan Perry, Alyssa Leo, Sierra Sieglock, Kayleigh Sands, Grace and Scarlett Sands, Macey Stevenson and Corbin Stevenson, and 1 great great-grandchild: Cyrus Anderson, along with many, many wonderful nieces and nephews of all ages; and his siblings: John (Sharon) Perry, Dave (Geri) Perry, Esther (Richard) Eastman, Luke (Lynn) Perry and Dorrie ( Don ) Rogers, and was preceded in death by his siblings: Jess Perry, Danny Perry, Mary Perry, Sam Perry, Martha Perry and Becky Godwin. His life was full of loving deeds, and he left us all with beautiful memories. He was truly dedicated to all his family, and it completely broke our hearts to lose him the day God called him home. His spirit sours in Heaven flying free and out of pain and he will live on in all our hearts for eternity. He is buried at the Veteran’s Cemetery in Igo, CA. His Gentle Soul will Rest in Peace and in God’s hands.
