    PHILIP TYLER IS TAKEN BY DEATH Passes Away At Home of Daughter After Illness Which Had Lasted Since Tuesday Philip Tyler, 81, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Louisa Hatchett, 1105 Grace Street, this morning at 11 o'clock. Mr Tyler had been in his usual health until Tuesday when he became sick and pneumonia developed. He was born in Canada on December 2, 1854, and came to High Point 18 months ago from Central Lake, MI. Prior to coming here he had been a farmer. He was a regular attendant at Pilgrim Holiness church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Hatchett of this city, Mrs. Frankie Welch of Central Lake, Mich., and Mrs. Annie Groh of Newberry, Mich., four sons, Willet, George, and Jim of Central Lake, and John Tyler of Arlington, D.C. The body will remain at the Koonce Funeral Home until Saturday morning at 10 o'clock when it will be removed to the home of Mrs. Hatchett. The funeral will be conducted at Pilgrim Holiness church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by Rev. O. L. Ruth , paster. Interment will be in Floral Garden Cemetery.
