Phillip Robert Welke's father was Otto B. Welke (1897 - 1985) and his mother was Ella L Welke (1902 - 1983). He had siblings Marvin, Donald, and Phyllis. When Phillip was 5, he was living in Washington, Wisconsin with his parents, Otto, 43, and Ella, 37, and siblings Donald, 15, Marvin, 10, Phyllis, 5, and his grandmother, Roseina Welke, 65. Dad Otto was a farmer. Phillip married Barbara J. Caton (1943 - 2005) on June 19, 1965 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. They had children Wayne, Michael, Nancy, Diane, and Sharon. The following appeared in the Leader-Telegram (Eau Claire, Wisconsin) on 16 Aug 1988, Tue Page 6 Phillip Welke Phillip R. Welke, 53, 3611 Brian St., died Monday at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was born in Fall Creek and farmed there until 1965. He married Barbara J. Caton June 19, 1965, in Eau-Claire where he worked at Indianhead Warehouse and was a Memorial High School custodian since 1977. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Wayne, Mankato Miss., Michael, at home; three daughters, Nancy, Diane, Sharon Rose, all at home; two brothers, Marvin, Donald, both of Fall Creek, and a sister, Phyllis Maik, Minneapolis. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Eau Claire, with burial in Trinity Cemetery, Fall Creek. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Fuller Funeral Home, Eau Claire, where there will be a prayer vigil at 7:30 p.m.
