Rachel Ruby (Salau) Stebbins was born in 1893 in Bendigo, Greater Bendigo City County, VIC Australia to Frederick William Salau and Esther Salau ( Lowndes, and had siblings Frederick Ambrose Salau and William Henry Salau. She married Roland Ira Christian Stebbins, and had children Roland Stebbins Jr. and Freda Combes ( Stebbins. Rachel Stebbins died at age 55 years old on April 6, 1949, and was buried in 1949 at Williamstown Cemetery Champion Rd, in Williamstown, Hobsons Bay City County.
