The couple divorced two years later on January 27, 1948 in Benton, Oregon, USA. He then married again to Lecrissa Rae Gwillim (1931–1997) on August 9, 1951 in Corvallis. The couple had four children together and then later divorced on January 9, 1973. Ray married one more time on April 6, 1981 in Marion, Oregon, USA to Shirley Colvinhecht.
