Regis Francis Xavier Philbin was born on August 25, 1931 in The Bronx, Bronx County, New York United States. He married Catherine Frances Philbin on September 8, 1956 in New York City, New York County and they later divorced in 1968 in New York City. They had children Amy Regina Ferguson and Daniel Jude Philbin. He married Joy Bette Philbin on March 1, 1970 in New York City, New York County, and they were married until Regis' death on July 25, 2020 in Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut. They had children Joanna Leslie Philbin and Jennifer Joy Philbin.
