    Renee C. Martin was a wonderful handwriting expert who was generous in supporting my career. Renee Cohen Kessler HIGHTSTOWN - Renee Cohen Kessler (professionally known as Renee C. Martin), 79, passed away on Thursday. Born in Brooklyn, she had lived in East Windsor/Hightstown since 1966. She was founder and owner of Questioned Documents, Inc. and Forgery Forensics in Princeton where she was a forensic handwriting expert and graphologist. She was involved with East Windsor Democratic Club and the Princeton Chamber of Commerce. During her youth in Brooklyn, she was a member of a light opera company and Yiddish theatre repertoire. She was the co-founder of National Association for Document Examiners and was a member of Mensa and Intertell. She served in the Civil Air Patrol during World War II and was a longtime member of Beth El Synagogue. She was past president of the Mercer County American Cancer Society and past president of the Mercer County Chapter of Business and Professional Women's Association. Predeceased by her parents and brothers, and daughter, Elena, she is survived by one son, Ken Kessler and his wife Cheryl of Raymore, TX; two daughters, Laurel VanBlarcum and her husband, Al of Waxahatchie, TX, and Julia Kessler of East Windsor; her ex-husband, Howard Kessler of New York; three grandsons and one granddaughter, Robert Covert of Missouri, Raymond Covert of Texas, and Martin and Victoria Covert of Princeton; her beloved cats, Tiger and Morocco; and many nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues. Funeral Services will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown. Cremation will be private. Family and friends may gather from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Her family will begin Shivah following the service on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244. Published in "The Times, Trenton," on Jun. 2, 2007.
