Survivors: wife, Grace Pasion Miller; sons, Rex Miller, Jr. (Kathleen), and Bruce Miller (Patricia); daughter, Mary Gracielle Miller-Mason (Korre), and other relatives. Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral: 11 a.m., Wednesday at Bible Baptist Church. Burial: Eastside Cemetery. Hodges-Moore Funeral Home, Statesboro Savannah Morning News February 23, 2009.

In 1918, in the year that Rex Miller was born, in January, President Wilson presented his Fourteen Points, which assured citizens that World War I was being fought for a moral cause and outlined a plan for postwar peace in Europe. The only leader of the Allies to present such a plan, the Europeans thought Wilson was being too idealistic. The points included free trade, open agreements, democracy and self-determination. They were based on the research and suggestions of 150 advisors.
