Rhoda B. Kemins engaged to Wed
The engagement of Miss Rhoda B. Kemins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. benjamin Kemins of 443 Sterling Street, to Ernest E. Borgnine, son of Charles Borgnine of New Haven, Connecticut, and the late Mrs. Borgnine, was celebrated yesterday at a luncheon and shower given by the brid-elect's aunt, Mrs. Libby Leopold, at the Cardinal Restaurant, Manhattan.
Miss Kemins is a graduate of Erasmus Hall High School, Miss Dunbar's School and the Manhattan Medical Assistants School. She had recently been discharged from the Waves after five years of service with the Hospital Corps of the Navy as a first class petty officer. Mr. Borgnine is also a Navy veteran, having served for ten years. He attended the Randolph School of Dramatics and is associated with the Barter Theater, the State Theater of Virginia in Abingdon, Virginia. He recently appeared with Joe E. Brown in the Broadway production of "Harvey".
