Robert Akers was born in 1867 in Parker, Collin County, Texas United States to Larkin W. Akers and Mary Ann (Elkins) Akers, and had siblings Steve Akers, Letty Akers, Minta Jane Akers, Julia Florence (Akers) Barger, Larkin Akers, Rebecca J. Akers, Matilda M. (Akers) McClanahan, and Solomon Akers. Robert Akers died at age 8 years old in 1875 in Parker.
