Steve Akers 1863 - 1935

Steve Akers was born in 1863 to Larkin W. Akers and Mary Ann (Elkins) Akers, and had siblings Letty Akers, Minta Jane Akers, Julia Florence (Akers) Barger, Robert Akers, Larkin Akers, Rebecca J. Akers, Matilda M. (Akers) McClanahan, and Solomon Akers. He married Martha Isabella (Guiles) Akers on November 9, 1886 in Parker, Collin County, Texas United States and they later divorced. They had children Millard G. Akers, Leonard Price Akers, Elijah (Lige) Gilmore Akers, Evie Lee (Akers) Teague, Jesse G. Akers, Roy R. Akers, Bessie Mae (Akers) Kelley, and Daisy L. ( Akers) Brown. He would also marry Ethel Nettie (Norman) Akers on October 28, 1926 in Weatherford, Parker County United States, and they were married until Steve's death on March 22, 1935. They had a child William Foy Akers.
